An important culmination of the Big 30/30 Music Explosion was the event’s Grand Price winner donating the top prize of $300 to a charity(ies) of his or hear choice. Caleb Wimble and his brother, Josh, won in the video category for their missionary cartoon titled, “Dare” which can be found at squeakytoad.com/movies.
This summer Caleb presented checks for $150 to “The Fold Family Ministries,” headquartered in Vermont and our local “Care-Net Pregnancy Centers of the Lehigh Valley.” Tim and Barbara Hash, the directors of The Fold, and very good friends to many at Ebenezer Bible Fellowship Church and other fellowships from here to Lancaster were in the Valley for ministry business and stopped by to personally accept Caleb’s check. They warmly welcomed his contribution. The Fold provides a residential environment where biblically-based Christ-centered principles are used for counseling, mentoring, and training teens and families in crisis.
A week later Caleb presented his remaining $150 to Care-Net. Ms. Sharon Grant and members of her staff graciously accepted the gift to go to the many good works of Care-Net an organization that helps any woman in need who is faced with an uncertain pregnancy and related questions that may require referrals or counseling from God’s perspective.
